Furnace Town Historic Site (Nassawango Iron Furnace)

Furnace Town Historic Site is a collection of historic buildings surrounding the historic Nassawango iron Furnace. Located in the Pocomoke Forest, five miles west of Snow Hill. Come take step back in time and explore our shared past. The 25-acre outdoor museum and recreation area welcomes victors April through October. The Furnace Town Foundation, Inc. is a private not-for-profit corporation charged with the responsibility of preserving, restoring, and interpreting the twenty-five acres of Furnace Town Historic Site, the 19th-century village of the Nassawango Iron Furnace.
