Over 60 years ago a small group of families had a vision to get together to start a local Independent Baptist Church in Hurlock, MD. After many years of faithfulness in a facility over on Academy Street, the congregation chose to move to a piece of property they had purchased years earlier over on North Main Street. The gymnasium (we call it our Ministry Center) was completed in 1992. The Sunday School wing was added in 2000, and the Sanctuary was completed in 2004. Our current pastor (Dave Talley) and his family came in 2005. Since that time the church has added a parsonage, 2 vans, a bus, a VBS shed and lots of ministries. For many years the motto at Grace has been: “We Preach Christ!”
