The Humane Society of Wicomico County is dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk animals, and matching pets with their forever families while providing premier temporary care and shelter for the animals in our community. We are an open-admission shelter which means any lost, found, stray, injured, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered animal from our county in need of refuge will not be turned away. We work alongside Salisbury City Animal Control and Wicomico County Animal Control to provide temporary shelter and care to stray animals in our area. As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, we rely on public support to operate. We also offer spay/neuter, euthanasia, and cremation services to the public.
