Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore (JAES) is a non-profit organization educating youth, grades K-12, on financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship at no cost to our school systems. We immerse ourselves in local business industries, identify the needs of the marketplace, and develop an innovative, needs-based curriculum that is brought to life, in the classroom, by community volunteers. We teach concepts that equip and inspire our students to understand and manage their finances, to live within their means, to identify fulfilling career pathways, to prepare for the “new norm” of work, and to explore entrepreneurial thinking. At JA, we believe in a world where every child’s story ends in success.
