Dr. Holt is one of a few fellowship-trained hand surgeons on the Lower Eastern Shore. Hand surgery is a holistic venture, merging orthopaedics, neurology, microsurgery and plastic surgery. Dr. Holt received an undergraduate degree in biomechanical engineering and graduate degree in biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University prior to attending Medical School at University of Louisville. Dr. Holt also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Louisville in addition to his medical degree. Dr. Holt completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Utah and a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at Duke University.
