Dr. Scott Gelman, joined Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates on September 1, 2021. Formerly practicing in Frederick, Maryland, Dr. Gelman will complement our successful arthroplasty program with a special interest in rapid recovery and advanced pain control, anterior hip replacement and total knee replacement as well as complex revisions of failed hip and knee replacements. He also has an interest in fracture care and will be assisting with our orthopaedic trauma coverage at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional. Dr. Gelman believes in an individualized, patient centered approach that focuses on returning each patient to their maximum function.
