Since 2015 WHCP Radio has informed, inspired and delighted people across the Mid-Shore. The recently expanded WHCP 91.7 FM is obsessively local, with a relentless focus on Mid-Shore people, places and events, coupled with passionate experts across musical genres, and NPR's flagship news mazines as well. Our core mission is education, cultural appreciation and celebrating the heritage, lore, and natural wonders of the Mid-Shore. Our Flagship studio remains in Cambridge, MD and we now have an Easton studio to support our newly expanded signal in Talbot County. WHCP was founded by former NPR CTO Mike Starling, who has served as the founding station manager and chief engineer since inception.
